USDA children’s food program at Iron Range Tykes Learning Center

MT. IRON – Iron Range Tykes Learning Center in Mt. Iron announced this week its participation in the Child and Adult Care Food Program. Meals will be available at no separate charge to enrolled children at the following site: Iron Range Tykes Learning Center, 8520 Park Ridge Dr. in Mt. Iron. Hours of operation are 6 a.m. – 6 p.m.

The goal of the program is to improve the diets of young children and increase the opportunity for children to eat a variety of nutritious foods. Meals meet nutritional standards established by the USDA.

In the operation of USDA Child Nutrition programs, no participant will be discriminated against because of race, color, national origin, sex, age, disability, or reprisal or retaliation for prior civil rights activity.
