Register to vote, resolve warrants in Virginia on Sept. 22

VIRGINIA – Range Mental Health Center will be the Iron Range host site for National Voter Registration Day. On Tuesday, Sept. 22, from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m., volunteers will be in RMHC’s main building parking lot at 624 13th St. S. in Virginia to assist the public and ex-offenders in registering to vote. Masks are required. Bring an email address and a Minnesota Driver’s license/ ID or Social Security card. For more information, see www.mnp.uscourts.gov/restoration voting-rights. Warrant resolution will also take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 22, at the same location. The Minnesota Judicial Branch Sixth Judicial District, in collaboration with the Public Defender’s Office and other criminal justice partners, is sponsoring the opportunity to resolve cases.
