VIRGINIA – During the month of August, Natural Harvest Food Co-op customers donated over $1,300 to North St. Louis County Habitat for Humanity. The funds will help them provide safe and affordable housing for families who would not otherwise be able to escape substandard housing situations.

Each month Natural Harvest Food Co-op in Virginia selects a local non-profit organization to be the recipient of their Change Within Reach program. The program allows their customers to donate by rounding their purchase amount up to the next highest dollar.

Since the start of the program in 2014, Natural Harvest has raised over $60,500 for local charities; in 2017 alone over $18,000 was raised.
