Jensen, who has served as a CNA at St. Michael’s Health & Rehabilitation Center for four years, was selected for this honor due to her level of compassionate, attentive and dignified care she provides to those she serves.
“Misty is truly dedicated to the people she cares for at St. Michael’s,” said Cheri High, Administrator/CEO of St. Michael’s. “She is an extremely compassionate caregiver and a great role model for others. She is always willing to give a helping hand, goes above and beyond, and encourages teamwork.”
As part of the recognition, Jensen received a small honorarium from BHS Foundation to use for personal self-improvement education, a specially designed certificate and pin, a plant, and her name on a plaque that is displayed in the main lobby of St. Michael’s.
Jensen was selected from a group of other nominees that included Ramona Suomi, CNA, who has been at St. Michael’s for 40 years; Sherry Maki, LPN, who has been at St. Michael’s for 30 years; and Audrey Peterson, physical therapy assistant, who has been at St. Michael’s for 20 years.
