JORDAN, MN — The Disabled American Veterans of Minnesota (DAV of MN) Foundation is excited to announce the first annual Military Appreciation Family Day at the Farm. This free outdoor event will take place on Saturday, Sept. 26, from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. at the Sutton Ridge Farm, 1500 W. 200th St. in Jordan, MN.
Gates will open at 10:30 a.m. There will be a color guard flag presentation at 11 a.m. Registration is necessary for your free meal tickets.
This is a day set aside to simply say “thank you” to disabled American veterans who continue to sacrifice past their days of active service and a family day for all military in our community, including active duty, reservists and retired.
Sutton Ridge Farm is a private farm. Its owners have volunteered to open up their property for a day of great food, encouraging speakers, live music, horse-drawn wagon rides, prizes, an inflatable climbing wall, a 60-foot obstacle course for the kids, up close views of their farm animals, including sheep shearing, and more.
