REGULAR MEETING MINUTES OF THE
SCHOOL BOARD OF MT. IRON-BUHL
SCHOOLS INDEPENDENT SCHOOL
DISTRICT 712 HELD MONDAY,
FEBRUARY 25, 2019.
MEMBERS PRESENT: Chair Jeremy Jesch,
Vice-chair Jason Gellerstedt, Treasurer Amy
Winans, Clerk Charles Bainter, Director Jesse
White, and Director Jennifer Tiedeman.
ALSO PRESENT: Superintendent Reggie
Engebritson, Ed., D., and Sheila Parenteau,
Superintendent’s Administrative Assistant.
The Regular Meeting of the School Board
opened with the Pledge of Allegiance recited at
5:30 p.m. in the Merritt Elementary Auditorium
February 25, 2019.
Motioned by Bainter, supported by Winans to
approve the agenda as proposed.
CONSENT AGENDA:
Motioned by Jesch, supported by Tiedeman to
approve the Consent Agenda as follows:
• January 28, 2919 Regular School Board
Meeting Minutes.
• February 11, 2019 Meeting Minutes.
• Payroll Report.
• Payment of Claims – $1,06,802.82 (2-11-
19).
• Payment of Claims – $267,864.04 (2-25-
19).
• Approve Mr. Brian Sodren’s resignation
effective February 15, 2019.
• First Reading – Public Participation in
School Board Meetings/Complaints About
Persons at School Board Meetings
and Data Privacy Considerations.
• Approve Renewing RAMS Membership.
• Approve American Indian Annual
Compliance Documentation.
• Approve Concurrent Enrollment Agreement Between ISD 712 and Vermilion College.

Tuesday, April 30th, 2019, and then at said
office publicly opened and read aloud.
The information for Bidders, Form of Bid,
Form of Contract, Plans and Specifications,
and Forms of Bid Bond, Performance and
Payment Bond, and other contract documents
may be examined at the following: Benchmark
Engineering, Inc., 8878 Main Street, Mountain
Iron, MN 55768 and City of Eveleth, 413 Pierce
Street, Eveleth, MN 55734.
Copies may be obtained at the office of Benchmark Engineering Inc. upon payment of $50.00
(non-refundable, sales tax included). Electronic
documents are available from QuestCDN, Project No. 6256581 for $25.00 (non-refundable,
sales tax included).
The Owner reserves the right to waive any
informality or to reject any or all bids.
Each Bidder must deposit, with their bid:
security in the amount, form and subject to
the conditions provided in the Information
for Bidders. The bid should be in a sealed
envelope with the project name, bid date and
time clearly labeled on the outside.
All applicable state and federal laws relative to
wage rates shall apply on this project. Contractors will be required to submit payroll reports.
No Bidder may withdraw their bid within 35
days after the actual date of the opening
thereof.
