Winnifred D. Lindgren
Decedent
A petition for Determination of Descent
has been filed with this Court. The
Petition represents that the Decedent
died more than three years ago, leaving
property in Minnesota and requests the
probate of Decedent’s last will, if any,
and the descent of such property be
determined and assigned by this Court
to the persons entitled to the property.
Any objections to the Petition must be filed
with the Court prior to or raised at the
hearing. If proper, and no objections
are filed or raised, the Petition may be
granted. If you have an objection to this
case, please contact Court Administration at (218-) 726-2460 option #6 for
further instructions as these hearings
are currently held remotely due to the
pandemic.
IT IS ORDERED and Notice is further given,
that the Petition will be heard on November 10, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. by this Court
at Hibbing, St. Louis County, Minnesota.
Notice shall be given to all interested
persons (Minn. Stat. section 524.1-401),
and persons who have filed a demand
for notice pursuant to Minn. Stat.
524.3-204.
Notice shall be given by publishing the No
tice and Order as provided by law and
by:
Mailing a copy of this Notice and Order
at least 14 days prior to the hearing date.

Mayor Vlaisavljevich called the meeting to
order at 2:00 p.m.
Approved the following minutes:
1.Minutes of City Council Workshop
Meeting held August 26, 2020; and
2.Minutes of City Council Meeting held
September 1, 2020.
Approved the agenda.
Appointed Carla Moberg to the Parks
Commission.
Approved Consent Agenda as follows:
Approval of Payroll – August 16-31, 2020 in
the amount of $147,426.11
Adopted Resolution No. 2020-28,
“Resolution Adopting Proposed Tax for
Year 2021.”
Adopted Resolution No. 2020-29, “Reso
lution Adopting Proposed Budget for
Year 2021.”
Set date of December 1, 2020 at 6:00 p.m.
at the Eveleth Auditorium for the Public
Hearing to discuss the proposed budget

and tax for 2021.
Approved hiring the following firefighters:
Justin Blazewicz, Raymond Elj, Austin
Miller, Samantha Spurlin, Dennise
Williams.
Approved Amended Joint Powers Agree
ment Relating to the Establishment of a
Joint Cable Television Access Board.
Approved the Joint Powers Agreement
between the City of Eveleth and the City
of Virginia regarding the Eveleth-Virginia
Airport Authority.
Approved the revised Ambulance Guide
lines, EMS EMT Position Description,
and EMS Shift Supervisor Position
Description.
Authorized EMS Operations Supervisor
and City Clerk Administrator to hire five
(5) additional EMTs contingent upon
satisfactory pre-employment background checks and physicals.
Approved the purchase of Motorola
Solutions Radios with installation, DSC
Communications pager and Lucas
v3.1 chest compression system in the
amount of $224,083.43.
Approved Purchase Agreement and
Resolution Authorizing Conveyance
of Real Estate to Joseph Strlekar and
Joan Strlekar for Lot 9D, Carlson’s 2nd
Addition.
Approved Purchase Agreement and
Resolution Authorizing Conveyance of
Real Estate to Brian Sandstrom for Lot
4C, Carlson’s 2nd Addition.
Approved sending a letter to the Eveleth
Airport Authority members indicating
their terms will end effective September
30, 2020 and thanking them for their
service on the Board.
