Awaken the blossoms of positive energy with earth and spirit

Hello there one and all as we arise and awaken to the gift of spring. As we venture forth while our earth unfolds may we sense the presence of life all around us.

As we celebrate the earth there are endless ways that we as the human race can make a difference in trying to maintain a healthier environment. It may be overwhelming for some to think about doing everything they can to be a good steward of the environment. Being willing, informed and educated as individuals is foremost to what can be done to make that difference.

My first encounter in learning about littering was about 50 years ago when my childhood friend saw me throw a gum wrapper on the ground and gave me a scolding in explaining how I was littering. Looking back today, I assume that it was her older sister who had educated her because she had been quite active and passionate on environmental issues.

I know that there is much more for me to learn and contribute to be a healthier person, not only for myself, but for my environment. Learning may be the first step, but it is also in those who continue to set the example of trying to maintain a healthy environment as well as a healthy spirit, body and mind.

Spiritual strength and courage

When it comes to having a relationship or recognition of a higher power in one’s life, or if even a person believes in a higher power at all, there are endless beliefs and traditions. Some people may only identify or express their beliefs or prayers by being in churches, shrines, synagods, temples, nature or may keep their beliefs to themselves. Everyone has their own individual relationship.

As our world continues to shift in beliefs as to what is acceptable to believe in or not, and for those who can even express themselves, it may be a lifelong battle. There are many reasons why people believe what they believe, but why can’t we coexist and know what is best for the welfare of our earth and being healthy souls?

I have spoken about and heard many people share some different views about their relationship with God and beliefs, as well as why there are still things occurring that are affecting our health and environment. Most of the concerns or conclusions seem to revert back to the phrase “money makes the world go around.” I point out that, ironically, on the dollar bill is the phrase “In God We Trust.”

Unlike many beliefs and traditions which are being altered and removed, this phrase still remains on our currency and as our country motto. There are people who want that motto removed and then there are people that may or may not be recognizing or care what is happening to our earth, health care and the welfare of our country for the sake of money. As our money and motto “In God We Trust” continue to be passed through the many hands of people, races and places, it intertwines our energy and lives. May we not take for granted what is good for a flourishing existence and to know that there is hope for us all.

Words cannot describe that I am still able to express and share my beliefs… They just came to me; “Thank you God, I trust that you are with me wherever I am and that I am in good hands.” dollar bill is the phrase “In God We Trust.”
