Friends of the Mt. Iron library to hold book sale

MT. IRON — The Friends of the Mt. Iron Public Library used book and White Elephant sale will be held on Thursday, May 16, from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m., and Friday, May 17, and Saturday, May 18, from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. at the library.

Books for all ages, DVDs, books on CD and an assortment of knick knacks will be available for purchase. All items will be 50 cents.

Support the Mt. Iron Public Library by purchasing a new book tote bag and fill it for free. All proceeds will be used to provide library programs. For more information, call the Mt. Iron Public Library at 218-735-8625.

    When I was a kid in Mt. Iron my favorite books at the library were those by Thornton Burgess such as Reddy Fox, Jimmy Skunk etc. Are there any of those for sale and if so how could I get a few?
