VIRGINIA — Natural Harvest Food Co-op (NHFC) customers donated $1,447 to Range Regional Animal Rescue in January. The funds will be used to provide highquality care for animals at the Hibbing animal shelter and to ensure the animals are guaranteed permanent placement in good homes.

Each month, Natural Harvest Food Co-op (NHFC) selects a local nonprofit organization to be the recipient of proceeds from NHFC’s Change Within Reach program. The program allows customers to donate by rounding their purchase amount up to the next highest dollar. One hundred percent of the donated funds go to the selected monthly organization. Since the start of the program in 2014, NHFC has raised over $98,000 for local charities; in 2020 alone, over $14,600 was raised.

Are you affiliated with a non-profit organization that would benefit from this program? If your organization is registered with a 501(c)3 or 501(c)4 status, it is eligible to apply for Change Within Reach. Visit www.naturalharvest.coop for more details.
