VIRGINIA – It was a cold, wet and perfect evening for St. Michael’s 9th annual Chili Cook-Off on Sept. 20. The Miners Memorial Building arena was full to capacity with the biggest crowd ever tasting chili at the St. Michael’s annual event.
St. Michael’s Foundation’s signature event showcased 33 chili cooks in three categories: Individual, Clubs and Organizations, and Professionals—all making their favorite chili recipes and participating in a friendly competition for awards.
This year’s Chili Cook-off raised over $26,000. All proceeds will directly benefit the residents of St. Michael’s Health and Rehabilitation Center in Virginia.
