Part 1: Top 10 Tips for Sustainable Landscaping
Do you have a landscaping project in mind? Get started by learning 10 tips for designing and installing a sustainable landscape for your home focused on plant health and longevity (1 hour).
Instructor: Julie Weisenhorn, Assistant Extension Professor/Director, University of Minnesota Extension Master Gardener Program.
Part 2: Residential Shoreland Buffers & Rain Gardens
Learn how you can conserve and use rain water in your landscape with shoreland buffers and rain gardens that capture this important resource and prevent runoff into our lakes and rivers (1 hour).
Instructor: Eleanor Burkett, Associate Extension Professor / Director, University of Minnesota Extension Shoreland Team.
