SpaceLIFT

By Rosie Gams

Decorator Secret:

Use What You Use as Décor!

How To:

Most of us collect things…we may not even realize it and before we know it we have a pile of shells from a vacation or dried flowers from special occasions or hood ornaments from vehicles from the past and we end up incorporating them into our room as design elements, but what about useful design elements? Utilitarian collections offer a sense or order, character, and charisma and make for dramatic pared-down spaces. Soaps, clothespins, sponges, and everyday essentials thoughtfully displayed suggest an organic element and ease of style that is suitable to simple aesthetics. Anything that is in constant use cannot collect dust or be considered clutter, which is certainly the drawback to many collections. Items like pots and pans, pretty serving spoons, and favorite dishes are a great design asset in the kitchen. Find a great container, dish or basket and use what you use as décor!

Remember change is good so give your room a Spacelift! I can help you make your room look new just using what you already have. Give me a call and setup an appointment for your personal Spacelift. Because the best in design is always a source of both immediate delight and lasting pleasure!

Have Fun,

Rosie
