Rangers Ken Nelson and Jeff Quam both earned Associate degrees in wildland/ wildlife law enforcement at Vermilion and completed its Seasonal Park Law Enforcement Ranger Training academy. And both, at age 28, have achieved full-time status this year as law enforcement rangers in the National Park Service. Their paths into the parks are remarkably similar. Full Story
