The Fix:
When your home features a large multipurpose space Bedrooms are a balancing act when it comes to scale. There are a lot of LARGE horizontal surfaces - the bed, the ceiling, the floor, side tables - so make sure you add vertical elements. A tall headboard, an armoire or large vertical art and window treatments hung close to the ceiling provide balance. But remember, always make the bed the focal point!
