Does your gut ache? Dr. Rutka to present program

VIRGINIA - A VRMC wellness program on “Finding the Cause of Your Gastrointestinal Discomfort” will be presented by Dr. Robert Rutka, Family Medicine, VRMC Clinical Services, on Thursday, Sept. 23, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Dr. Rutka will talk about some of the common causes of gastrointestinal discomfort such as irritable bowel syndrome, colitis, celiac disease, Crohn’s disease, chronic constipation or diarrhea, and lactose intolerance. He will discuss troubling signs and symptoms, what’s causing the discomfort, and how to feel better.

The program will be held in the VRMC McMillan Auditorium. The program costs $10 and supper is included. To register or for more information, call Sharon at 749-9415 by Tuesday, Sept. 21.
