Garden Tools
By Jo Bjerke

Highest quality garden tools are an investment that will save time and effort during routine yard chores. Heat hardened steel blades (forged, drop-forged, or tempered) for loppers and pruners will stay sharp by holding their edges longer. Wood handles (ash) that are well balanced and fit your hand will absorb more shock than metal handles.
Wipe or hose off all excess dirt and debris after each use. Disinfect with a 10% bleach solution or isopropyl alcohol for several minutes. Dry completely. Spread a light coating of machine oil over steel surfaces to prevent rust that will pit and dull the edges. Store the tools indoors to protect your investment.
