Consider Another Regarding Everything
By Nick Furey
HTF Contributor

Have you ever been asked by someone if you want to go do something, and you respond with “I don’t care”? Then, after the evening is complete, you so sweetly express your appreciation by saying, “Take care.”

Wait a minute! How can we use the same word, CARE, to express both positive and negative attitudes? When we say we don’t care, we are really saying that we don’t want to Consider Another person, place, or thing, Regarding Everything. In other words, we just don’t want to give thought to it. And, when we end our conversations with “Take care” we are really telling them to Take Consideration Regarding Everything as they go.

Another form of CARE is how we how we take CARE of the people, places or things in our life - whether it is how our parents have told us to take care of our toys and other items, or how a family takes care of their HOME (Haven Of My Existence), or how doctors, nurses, teachers, funeral directors, and others in business truly CARE about their customers or clients.

Imagine if some of us would have truly taken CARE of some of those toys growing up; we could be rich now, as a lot of them could be worth a whole lot of money! The more we Consider the items in our life the greater the chances they will stay in great shape. The thing is, we have to Consider it Regarding Everything.

There are aspects of owning a home that give us a sense of belonging and ownership. I know that when I owned a home, I was able to design it according to what I liked. However, if we do not take CARE of our home, the home will fall apart and then where will we be? The same applies to how we take care of our family as well. If we don’t CARE about our family it too will fall apart.

Doctors, nurses, teachers, funeral directors, and other professional take CARE to the highest level. Any time a patient or client comes through the door, we must Consider Another Regarding Everything. Take, for example, nurses. Every patient has a variety of needs, and the nurse must consider that patient regarding everything in order for that patient to heal. If one area is neglected, the patient may not fully recover. As a funeral director, I am responsible for considering not only the deceased and ensuring that every detail about them is CAREd for, but also for the sake of their loved ones and friends.

Finally, what about the many businesses that develop true “Customer CARE”?

“In any business, the key to success is through training, and the only time success comes before training is in the dictionary” – Randall Greene.

About a month ago I was laid up with extreme back pain! I could barely walk or get around. I tried everything... pills, heating pads, soaks, etc. It wasn’t until I went to visit Nick Devich at his Chiropractic Center that I was able to get my life back; he truly took CARE of me and for that I am very appreciative.

We need to train our employees to Consider Another customer Regarding Everything! When a customer feels cared for, they are more than satisfied. An unhappy customer will tell a hundred people, but a happy customer will tell 10 people. But those 10 people will tell 10 more, and they will tell 10, multiplying our potential over and over. Which do you want, positive or negative feedback? The choice is yours, depending on the level of CARE you provide your customers.

I appreciate all my readers. Have a great day and take CARE.
