Family stunned by lucky streak of fishing

COOK - Linda Constantine of Virginia came to our HTF office last week with some photos of walleyes her husband, son and a friend have caught on the Cook end of Lake Vermilion recently. They have been fishing the west end of Lake Vermilion for decades and Linda said they have never before caught so many walleyes, and so many BIG walleyes.
“This is very much out of the ordinary,” Linda said. “The guys compared it to their Canadian fishing trips.” Because the Constantines had heard reports of mostly poor walleye fishing on Vermilion so far this season, they felt doubly blessed by their experience.
