Give Your Website Some Personality
By Sean Rosensteel HTF Columnist
Giving your web presence a “fun factor” is no doubt beneficial to your business, no matter what industry you’re in. Here are a few creative tips to “decorate” your website and attract more customers, while bringing back the old ones.
Unique Background: Using a unique or creative background offers a sense of dedication to viewers. If the background is just plain white, it may come off a bit drab. Don’t be scared to do something creative!
Seasonal: If your website involves outdoors in any way, it may be a good idea to utilize the seasonal differences. Use lighter shades and green grass images in the summer, and paint a winter image with slightly darker shades and snow images.
Holidays: There are only a few major holidays a year – so it may be worthwhile to throw a cartoon egg next to your logo on Easter or display a four leaf clover on St. Patrick’s Day.
The most important thing is to be creative and have fun with it!
