Spring Bulbs
Resist the temptation to cut back unsightly yellowing foliage on tulips, daffodils, and other large spring bulbs until thoroughly dried out. The foliage is needed to replenish energy stores to guarantee successful blooming every spring. Cut off the spent blooms to prevent unnecessary seed production. Tiny bulbs and Siberian squills should be allowed to self-seed. Full Story
