Local finalists in PBS Writers Contest
The Iron Range has 16 regional finalists in the largest writing contest in the United States, the 2010 PBS KIDS GO! Writers Contest for K-3 students. Regionally, 5,112 entries were submitted from 40 schools in NE Minnesota and NW Wisconsin. A huge celebration will be held Sunday, April 18, at 1 p.m. at The Marshall School in Duluth, where they will all be recognized and given prizes. Full Story
