Opening reception set for artist at Smith’s

There will be an opening reception for artist Jennifer Maroney and her paintings on Thursday, Mar. 4, from 5-7 p.m. at Smith’s Infusion, 107 N. 4th Ave., in Virginia.

The new collection, Magic Women Tribe, are the depictions of Maroney’s muses. “This collection of paintings is about following impulse and painting what I feel. And, yes, there is magic in that. Magic in being yourself,” Maroney said.
