A couple months ago I stopped in at a local consignment store, thinking I might find something for my daughter Christine, who likes old clothing she can re-use. On a rack by the door, I saw a bright green wool and (real) fur-trimmed parka, with Native design appliqués, in excellent condition. Full Story

Back in the 1960s, the two movie theatres in Virginia offered kids something to do on Saturday mornings. The practice disappeared long ago, but I am glad it was there to enjoy. Full Story
