Zonia Estelle Berganini

Zonia Estelle Berganini, 80, of Hibbing passed away Sunday, October 3, 2010 at Lustila Foster Care in Hibbing. Funeral service will be held at the First Presbyterian Church in Hibbing on Thursday, October 7th at 2:00 p.m. Visitation will be one hour prior. Pastor Jim Deters will officiate and burial will be at the Grandview Gardens Cemetery. Arrangements are by Range Funeral Home of Hibbing.
 
Zonia was born on June 12, 1930 to Axel and Ruby (Anderson) Johnson in Gonvick, MN. She graduated from Hibbing High School after graduation she married Clifford Butler on September 30, 1950 in Hibbing. She sold Play House toys for 5 years and she worked at the Viking Sewing Center for 5 years. She was very involved with the Proctor Hockey Assoc. and Girl Scouts. She also worked at Super One for 7 years. She married Fred Berganini on September 10, 1986 in Plankington, SD.
She was a very talented crafter, a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was very friendly, outgoing, ambitious and caring. She made friends where ever she went. She will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her.
 
She is survived by: her husband, Fred Berganini of Hibbing; children: Irwin (Sharon Gunderson) Butler of Biwabik, MN, Deborah (Jerry) Jarvis of Silica, MN, Tammy (Sherman) Glavan of Glenco, MN, Florette (Alvin) Hujanen of Roseville, MN and Sheldon (Rose) Berganini of Hibbing, MN; 9 Grandchildren: Eric, Jay, Michael, Amy, Erin, Jennifer, Ahti, Rosalind and Fred;  
10 Great-grandchildren: Ashley J., Alexis, Gabriel, Ashley G., Thomas, Eric, Lauren, Julia, Blake and Angela; Brother: Manfred Johnson of Cedar Rapids, Iowa and numerous nieces and nephews.
 
She was preceded in death by parents, first husband, Clifford, 2 brothers, Roger and Leonard and one sister, Marian.
