Willard “Bill” O. Hendrickson
Willard “Bill” O. Hendrickson, 86, of Tower (formerly Babbitt), died Tuesday, October 12, 2010, at St. Micheal’s Nursing Home in Virginia, MN. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to charity of your choice. Memorial service is at the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Babbitt on Saturday, October 23, 2010, at 11:00a.m. Arrangements are by Range Funeral Home of Virginia.
He was born in Perth, ND, on March 5, 1924. He worked for Reserve Mining Company for 24 years until retirement. He was a member of the Moose Club and the Lion’s Club. He was a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Babbitt.
He is survived by six children, Gary (Sue) Hendrickson of Antioch, IL, Cheryl (Kevin) Daly of Normal, IL, DJ (Helen) Hendrickson of Chardon, OH, Diane (Todd) Ahlquist of Chandler, AZ, Ed Hendrickson of Eveleth, MN, Steve (Lisa) Hendrickson of New Folden, MN, and stepsons Dale, David, and Don Paavaalienen.
He had 13 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, eight step grandchildren, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
He is preceded in death by two wives Betty and Mary Ellen, one infant son, two parents, a brother, and a sister.
