Victor L. Robich
Victor L. Robich, 54, of rural Gilbert, passed away Saturday, January 15, 2011 unexpectedly at his home. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 19th, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Resurrection Catholic Church in Eveleth with services to follow immediately. Father Charles Flynn will officiate.
He was born on December 12, 1956 to Victor A. and Priscilla J. (Moberg) Robich and grew up in Fayal Township.Victor was a graduate of Eveleth High School and the University of MN-Duluth.Vic was a long time employee of and current President of Virginia Co-Op Credit Union.He served as Exalted Ruler of the Virginia Elks. He was a member of the Virginia Area Chamber of Commerce and was very active within range communities.
Vic enjoyed basketball, golf and especially the years of fishing and camping at Shagawa Lake Resort. His deepest devotion and loyalty was to his family and friends.
Victor is survived by his wife, Darcy (Johnson);Two daughters: Amanda (Michael) Pluskwik, and Sara; his son: Karl and his stepdaughter, Nicole Dambach; adored grandchildren: Laif, Finn and Gabriel; his siblings: Theresa (Tom) Crandall, Michael (Lynnette) Robich and sister-in-law, Jo-Anne Robich; Father and mother-in-law: Kenneth and Donna Johnson; brother-in-law: Steve (Judy) Johnson; several nieces and nephews as well as beloved pets, Miss BV and Philo.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Priscilla and Victor and his brother, John Robich.
