Theodore “Ted” P. Heikkila
Theodore “Ted” P. Heikkila, 61, Virginia, died unexpectedly, Sunday, August 22,2010.
Ted was born, June 20, 1949, in Minneapolis, the son of Albert and Lola (Stauty) Heikkila. He grew up and attended schools in Virginia, graduating from Roosevelt High School in 1967. He went on to Mankato State University, where he studied and graduated with a degree in Arena Management.
Ted was part owner/operator of “The Office” Bar in Virginia, MN.
He is survived by three brothers, Charles and Jon Heikkila, Virginia, and Terry Heikkila of Tucson, AZ; a niece, Tiffany Weiss, and a grand-niece, Destiny Weiss. Also surviving are other family and friends.
Ted is preceded in death his parents.
Visitation will begin on Thursday, August 26, 2010, at Range Funeral Home, from 10:00 a.m. to the 11:00 a.m. Memorial Service, with Pastor Gary Terrio officiating. A private family burial will take place at a later date.
