Richard H. Randall

Richard H. Randall, 82, of Cotton died of mesothelioma on Monday, November 15, 2010 at Solvay Hospice House in Duluth surrounded by his family.
 
He worked as a heavy equipment operator and was a member of Operating Engineers Local # 49, Cotton Community Church, Cotton Senior Citizens Club and enjoyed his weekly four wheeling rides with his friends. Richard was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
 
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Eileen; children, Kelly Randall (Rod) Ray of Mesa, AZ, Lance Randall (Mary Koivisto) of Duluth, MN. six grandchildren, Kerry (Curtis) Wright, Stacy (Spencer) Aune, Jacquelyn (Rudy) Karre, Tiffany (Ryan) Borovansky and Cody Peterson; eight great grandchildren; sons-in-law, William “Buddy” Peterson of Cotton, MN., and Tom Hall of Eveleth, MN and numerous nephews and nieces.
 
He was preceded in death by his daughters, Lynn Randall and Sharon Hall and a brother, James Randall.
 
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, November 19, 2010 at Cotton Community Church with Pastor Justin Krych officiating. Interment will be in Cotton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials to Cotton Community Church   Arrangements are entrusted to Cron-Sheehy Funeral Home, Eveleth. To sign the guest book online and to leave a memorial message, go to: www.cron-sheehy.com.
