Rachele “Chelli” Korte
Rachele “Chelli” Korte, 30, of Chisholm, passed away Saturday, September 18, 2010 at her residence. Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 25, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at the Range Funeral Home in Hibbing with visitation beginning one hour prior to the service. Pastor Dan Erickson will officiate. Arrangements are with Range Funeral Home in Hibbing.
Rachele was born on October 2, 1979 to Lewis Henry and Diane Marie (Berger) McCoy, Jr. in Greeley, Colorado. She graduated from Duluth Central High School in 1997. Rachele married Scott Edward Korte on July 15, 2000 in Hibbing. She attended St. Scholastica, graduating with a B.A. in business.
Rachele worked a variety of jobs and was pursuing a career in nursing. She enjoyed in-line skating, scrapbooking, and photography. She especially loved spending time in the outdoors with her husband and dog, Winnie.
Rachele was preceded in death by her husband, Scott; father, Lewis; foster mother, Arlene Peterson; uncle, Dan Anschutz; cousin, Tommy Anschutz; numerous other relatives, and special companion, Winnie.
Survivors include: Mother: Diane McCoy of Hibbing, MN; Mother-in-law & Father-in-law: Edward (Verna) Korte of Iron, MN; 3 Siblings: Debbie (George) Pratt of Hibbing, MN, Matthew McCoy of Hibbing, MN and Ruthie McCoy of Hibbing, MN; Brother-in-law & Sister-in-law: Kevin (Katie) Korte of Virginia, MN; Nieces & Nephews: Kristjan Korte, Preston Scott McCoy, Dale Pratt, Ayden Pratt, Kaiden Jackson; Aunts & Uncles: Nancy Anschutz and Bob (Deb) Berger; Cousins: Tyron Berger and Dan Anschutz; Foster Father: Wally Peterson of Duluth, MN.
