Philomena B. Moreland
Philomena B. Moreland, 67, of Eveleth died Tuesday, July 13, 2010 at her residence.
She was born on September 1, 1942 in Dublin, Ireland to Patrick P. and Mary Ann (O’Malley) Brennan. Philomena was a homemaker and enjoyed country living in Cotton where she raised her family. In later years, she moved to Eveleth and liked to read, crochet, knit and walk.
She is survived by her children, Gary (Marci) of Mahtowa; Mike (Carol) of Virginia; Carrie (Todd) Mashuga of Zim; Randy (Jessica) of Brainard; Rory and Shawn both of Makinen and Chad (Kristie) of Pittsburgh, PA; grandchildren, Beth (Isaac), Dusty (Elizabeth), Billy, Cody, Cory, Kendra, Ashley, Sarah, Elizabeth, Shawn, Candy (Andy), Jenna (Josh), Jaimee (Ben), Kaelen and Cade; great grandchildren, Seth, McKenzie and an expected great grandchild; brothers, Frank Brennan of Phoenix, AZ; Steve Brennan of St. Paul, MN and numerous nephews and nieces.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Debbie; brother, Tom and her parents.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, July 19, 2010 in Resurrection Catholic Church, Eveleth with Fr. Charles Flynn officiating. Visitation will be one hour before at the church.
