Paula M. Niehoff
Paula M. Niehoff, 53, of Eveleth died Friday, November 5, 2010 at St. Raphael’s Health & Rehabilitation Center in Eveleth.
She was born on August 19, 1957 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Patrick and Helen (Kramer) McLain. Paula received her Associates Degree in Business Management from Alexandria Technical School. She was married to James A. Niehoff on June 20, 1975 in Osakis, MN. Paula had worked as a contract supervisor for the U.S. Navy. Following her husband’s retirement from the Navy in 1994, they made their home in Eveleth. She continued working as a home health aide and a telemarketer for Finger Hut. Paula was a member of Resurrection Catholic Church, enjoyed doing charity work, going to Fortune Bay and taking rides with her husband, grandson, T.J. and dog, Magnum.
She is survived by her husband, Jim; daughters, Erika Niehoff of Eveleth; Amanda (Matt) Roos of Side Lake; grandchildren, T.J., Grace, Branden, Zachary and Justin; her parents; sister, Theresa (Mark) Oslung of Minnetonka; numerous nephews and nieces and her beloved dog, Magnum.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 9, 2010 in Cron-Sheehy Funeral Home Chapel. Fr. Charles Flynn will officiate. Visitation will be one hour before services.
