Michael Allen Finch Sr.
Michael Allen Finch Sr. was born to Everett and Katherine {Holsapple} Finch in Brainerd, Minnesota on July 23, 1951. He passed away on May 8th, 2010 in Hibbing, after a long battle with Pick’s Disease. He spent most of his adult life driving truck for companies here in Minnesota as well as in Alaska. He enjoyed riding motorcycle, fishing and playing saxophone with his nephews and brother.
Michael is survived by his wife: Rachel; Children Jerreth and Katrina of Bovey, MN; Daughters: Michelle Hughes of Baxter, MN, Kristina Kummet of Princeton, MN, and Denise {Vince} Simenstad of Brainerd, MN; Son: Micheal Allen Finch Jr. of Fairbanks, AK; Eight Granddaughters; Three grandsons; One Great-grand daughter; Siblings: Carolyn {Jack} Strong of Brainerd, MN, Gayle {Douglas} Boucher of Danville, Pa., Jeanette {Harvey} Kahn, Chugiak, AK, Louis {Deloris} Finch and Steven {Becky} Finch, both of Eagle River, AK, and Gary {Cindy} Finch, Brainerd, MN.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Everett, Wayne, and Curtis, and his grandson Colton.
A Memorial service will be held at a later date.
