Marian Adele Menuey
Memorial service for Marian Adele Menuey, 85, of Hoyt Lakes will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, January 26 at Trinity Methodist Church in Hoyt Lakes with Pastor Barbara Hegfors officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Inurnment will be at a later date in the Hoyt Lakes Memorial Cemetery. Arrangements by Ziemer-Moeglein-Shatava Funeral Home in Aurora.
Mrs. Menuey died Saturday, January 22, 2011 at Essentia Health - Northern Pines Medical Center in Aurora.
She was born February 12, 1925 in Leadville, CO to James and Anna Van Pelt. On March 19, 1946 she married Gilbert C. Menuey in Denver, Colorado. In 1956 they moved to Hoyt Lakes and Marian began working at White Community Hospital in Aurora in the business office. She was a member of Trinity Methodist Church.
Survivors include her sons, Alan (Pauline) Menuey of Hoyt Lakes and Van Menuey; six grandchildren, six great grandchildren, nephew: Don (Christine) Menuey of Two Harbors; niece, Jackie Rae (Ken Chavie) Norton of Hastings, MN; sister-in-law: Helen Wilson of Colorado and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
Marian was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Gilbert C. Menuey, brothers and sisters.
