Mabel E. (Hiltunen) Bradach
Mabel E. (Hiltunen) Bradach, age 89, of Aurora, passed away Thursday December 9, 2010 in Aurora. Visitation will be Tuesday December 14, 2010 from 10:00 until the 11:00 mass at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Aurora, Fr. Steven Daigle as celebrant. The family has selected Range Funeral Home in Virginia to assist them with arrangements.
She was born on November 21, 1921 in Vermilion Township to Peter and Hilja Sophia (Limpia) Hiltunen. Mabel graduated from Embarrass High School in 1939 and attended Eveleth Junior College and the University of Minnesota Duluth. She was united in marriage to Henry Bradach on February 1, 1945 in Aurora. Together they spent over seven years with their children at various Air Force bases in the US and Germany while Henry was in the US Air Force. Upon their return Mabel taught grade school in Babbitt MN for over 16 years. Upon their retirement, Mabel and Henry spent many days fishing, gardening, and enjoying time at their cabin at Bear Island Lake.
She is survived by her Sons: Timothy of Columbia Heights, MN
Thomas (Trish) of Casper, WY, Paul (Ann) of Canton, MN; Daughter Marcia Bradach of Hoyt Lakes, MN. She is also survived by two grandchildren: Nancy (Brian) Reed and Thomas (Nicole) Mount and ten great- grandchildren.
Mabel was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, four brothers, Victor, Ray, Leo, and Robert, and two sisters, Mavis and Elizabeth (Betty).
