Luba Cameron
Luba Cameron, age 88, a lifelong resident of Hibbing, died Sunday, May 30th, 2010 at Fairview University Medical Center Mesabi in Hibbing. She was born April 27, 1922 in Pool Loc., MN, the daughter of Dan and Mary (Jaksich) Terzich. She was a graduate of Hibbing High School. On September 2, 1961 she married Raymond “Bud” Cameron in Hibbing.
She was employed at the City of Hibbing in the Assessor’s Office.
Luba was a member of St. Michael’s Serbian Orthodox Church in Hibbing, the Ladies of the Moose, VFW Post #8510 Women’s Auxiliary, and AM Legion Auxiliary. She also enjoyed playing bocce ball.
Luba is survived by her sisters: Sophie (Keith) Robinson and Julie Altuvilla of Hibbing; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband: “Bud”; six brothers: Mike, Louie, Joe, Dushan, Peter, and Bobby Terzich; two sisters: Dorothy Ward and Anne Quiggin.
Visitation will be Thursday, June 3, from 10:00 am until the 11:00 am service at St. Michael’s Serbian Orthodox Church in Hibbing. The Very Reverend Bogdan Zjalic will officiate. Interment will be in the Maple Hill Cemetery in Hibbing.
Casketbearers will be Joe Terzich, George Terzich, Dale Robinson, George Quiggin, Harry Clark, and Scott Terzich.
