Laura Nagel (nee Toensing)
Laura Nagel (nee Toensing), age 92 formerly of Shoreview died Wednesday, July 28, 2010 in the Ely Bloomenson Nursing Home. She was born April 5, 1918 in St. Paul and married Garfield Frank Nagel in 1940. Laura was a homemaker and did some accounting work on a part-time basis. She was a 50+ year member of Incarnation Lutheran Church, a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Ely, and she enjoyed gardening.
Laura is survived by children: Janice (Rob) Erickson of Ely, Judy Nagel of Palm Springs, CA and Paul Nagel of Ely; brother: Richard Toensing of Maplewood and Sister-in-law: Jane Barnes of Shoreview; and numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Garfield in 1974; and six brothers and sisters.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 6, 2010 in the Incarnation Lutheran Church in Shoreview. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the Church.
