James “Jim” Jefferson
James “Jim” Jefferson, 67, of Wouri Township died Friday, August 6, 2010 at his home surrounded by his family after a courageous twelve year battle with cancer. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 12 noon to 2:00 PM Thursday, August 12 at the Wouri Town Hall.
Jim was an avid hunter and fisherman. He lived his life to the fullest, enjoying the time he spent with his family and friends in the great outdoors.
He is survived by his wife: Cindy Padgett; Two Sons: Matthew Jefferson of Gilbert, MN and James Jefferson Jr. at home; One Granddaughter: Kylee Jefferson; Two Sisters: Linda (Pedro) Cuadra of Tampa, FL and Janice (Jason) Sazama of Duluth, MN; Numerous in-laws, nieces and nephews, and his beloved canine companions; Max, Hercules and Maggie.
He was preceded in death by his parents Marie Rainbird and Edward Jefferson and his brother John Rainbird.
