Elizabeth K. Rebeau
Elizabeth K. Rebeau, 81, a lifelong Iron Range resident died Thursday, September 23, 2010 at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Duluth.
She was born on March 31, 1929 to Joseph and Mary (Suznjevic) Sulentich in Eveleth, Minnesota. Elizabeth was a graduate of Eveleth High School and attended Eveleth Jr. College. In 1948 she was united in marriage to John R. Rebeau. She was a member of Resurrection Catholic Church. Elizabeth retired as a dental assistant. She was a long time bowler, enjoyed playing bocce ball, traveling with friends and especially spending time with her family at the family cabin.
She is survived by her sons, John (Julie) of Minneapolis, and their daughter, Jessica and granddaughter, Hailey; and Greg of Minneapolis and his daughter, Cassie and granddaughter Holly; brother, Bob (Shirley) Sulentich and his family of Beryl, Utah; countless nieces, nephews, and extended family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband John, daughter Mary Beth, siblings Frank, John, Steve, Karl, Mike and George Sulentich, Mary Bucknam, Ann Turpin, Fran McGowan and Katie Mantini.
Memorial Mass will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday, October 2, 2010 at Resurrection Catholic Church in Eveleth with Fr. Ronald Gagne as officiant. Visitation will be one hour before the mass at the church. Inurnment will be in Calvary Cemetery in Virginia. Arrangements are entrusted to Cron-Sheehy Funeral Home, Eveleth.
