Edward E. Kautto
In accordance with Edward’s wishes, there will be no formal service. Private inurnment will take place at a later date at the Chisholm Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Rupp Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Chisholm.
Edward E. Kautto, age 83, of Hibbing, died Wednesday, October 27, 2010, at his residence. He was born January 21, 1927 in Wawina, MN, to Emil and Olga (Hietikko) Kautto. He was a class of 1945 graduate of Chisholm High School and was a Chisholm and Hibbing resident for most of his life. He worked as a foreman for the former Oliver Mining Co. and as a taxi cab driver in Minneapolis for a number of years. He was a WW II Army Veteran.
Survivors include his sisters – Julia Roberts of Hibbing and Thelma (Gene) Stanich of North Glenn, CO; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers – Olaf and Eino Kautto; sister – Aune Pavlovich.
