Edna L. Pariseau
Edna L. Pariseau, 90, of Eveleth, passed away on Saturday, December 4, 2010 at the Virginia Convalescent Center. Edna was born to Emma and Fred Eggert on October 9, 1938 in Princeton, MN. She was the youngest of 11 children. On March 30th, 1938, she married Thomas H. Pariseau in Cambridge, MN.
Throughout their married life, they lived in numerous locations. Even in retirement, the wheels never stopped turning and they had many adventures throughout the States. They finally settled down, splitting their time between their beloved Donna, Texas winter home and Lake of the Woods, MN summer home. These locations were perfect for Edna because she could grow flowers year round.
Edna’s days were filled with card playing, gardening, fishing, golfing, curling, dancing with husband Tom, reading, sewing and crafts, crosswords and an avid sports fan of baseball, football and of course hockey.
She is survived by her six children; William (Barbara) of Eveleth, Minn., Gloria Pariseau of Highlands, North Carolina., Patrice (Everett John) Luukkonen of Zim, Minn., Thomas Jr “Butch” (Barbara) of Eveleth, Minn., Patrick(Mary) of Shoreview, Minn., and Michael of Iron, Minn. Ten grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews who thought of her as ‘Mom’.
She is preceded in death by her parents, siblings, husband Tom and infant son Gerald.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday in Cron-Sheehy Funeral Home Chapel, Eveleth. A memorial gathering for family and friends will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home and will continue on Friday one hour before the services. Fr. Ronald Gagne will officiate.
