Dorothy Marie Duhant
Dorothy Marie Duhant, 83, Virginia, died Sunday, October 3, 2010 at Virginia Regional Convalescent Center. Memorial Service will be Friday, October 8th at 12 noon at Range Funeral Home in Virginia. Visitation will be one hour prior. Deacon Dan will be officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
Dorothy was born August 17, 1927, in Mt. Iron, the daughter of Ero and Marie Koski. At an early age she was adopted by Gus and Alina Beck. She grew up and attended schools in Virginia, graduating from Virginia High School in 1945.
She was united in marriage to Joseph Duhant.
Dorothy enjoyed reading, cooking, and playing the organ. Her home was always open to friends and family. Her quick wit, charm, and great food will always be remembered by those who loved her.
She is survived by: 3 daughters: Michelle (Richard) Krech, Finland, MN, Vickie (Rick) Meyer, North Branch, MN and Patty (Eric) Johnson, St. Bonafacius, MN; six grandchildren: Matt, Joseph, Richard, Jenny, Cassie, and Austin; three great-grandchildren: Matt, Chasity, and Karter; one sister: Shirley (Gary) Patosnik, New Mexico; two special friends, Ruth and Laverne and several nieces, nephews, others relatives and friends.
Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Joseph; a son, Paul; one sister, Arlene and an infant brother.
