Dean Robert Koski, 51, of Embarrass passed away of natural causes on Tuesday, July 7, 2010 at his residence in Embarrass. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, July 10, 2010 at the Range Funeral Home in Virginia, MN. Pastor Ben Buchanan will officiate. Burial will be at the Embarrass Cemetery.

 

Dean was born on January 25, 1959 to William and Laura (Nevala) Koski in Ely, MN. He grew up in Embarrass and graduated from Embarrass-Babbitt High School. He was employed by Minntac Mining Company.

Dean was a family man whose life revolved around loving and caring for his children.

 

He survived by his children: Katie (Daniel) Brown – Hudson, WI, Kurtis Koski – Bozeman, MT, Kevin Koski – Bozeman, MT; Brother: William Koski Jr., - Embarrass, MN;Sister: Karen Erkkila Hoover of Pennsylvania and many family members and friends.

 

He was precede in death by parents and brother, David.
