Albert P. Voce
Albert P. Voce, 82, a lifelong resident of Eveleth died Tuesday, April 6, 2010 at the Virginia Regional Medical Center.
He was born on April 30, 1927 in Eveleth to Marco and Catharina (Goglio) Voce. Albert was united in marriage to Lola Doreen Drouillard on April 30, 1965. He worked as a foreman for HG Harvey Construction Company. Albert was a World War II Navy Veteran. He enjoyed flying his plane, hunting fishing, baking and most of all gardening.
He is survived by his children; Catherine “Tina” Voce, Bruce Voce, Gayle (Duane) Hart, Susan Smith, Ralph Freeman and Carrie Stansfield; eight grandchildren; several great grandchildren; siblings, John Voce, Jim (Ellen) Voce, Art (Margie) Voce, Edward (Nancy) Voce, Danny (Mary Ann) Voce and Patricia (Jerry) Mace.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Doreen and grandson, Tyler.
Memorial services will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday, April 10, 2010 at Cron-Sheehy Funeral Home, Eveleth with Rev. Fr. Frank Perkovich as officiant. Visitation will be one hour before the services at the chapel. Military rites will be accorded by Aurora/Hoyt Lakes Color Guard. Inurnment will be in Eveleth Cemetery at a later date.
