Adela Frances Ebert

A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 9, 2010 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Chisholm, with Rev. Fr. Fred Method celebrating. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the mass at the church on Thursday.  Inurnment will be held in Chisholm Cemetery.  Arrangements are entrusted to Rupp Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Chisholm.
 
Adela Frances Ebert, 91, of Balkan Township, died Thursday, September 2, 2010 at her home. She was born July 23, 1919 in Chisholm to John and Mary Nosan. She was a graduate of Chisholm High School class of 1937 and a lifelong Chisholm-Balkan Township resident.  Adela was associated with Nosan Oil and Gas and had worked at the former Woolworths in Hibbing.  She also worked for Balkan Township specializing in cleaning services.  She was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Chisholm, and was a former secretary for the Slovenian National Benefit Society Lilly of the Valley, and the SNPJ Lodge # 322, she loved gardening, sewing, reading, and crossword puzzles. Adela also considered herself a Chisholm historian. 
 
She is survived by her son Frank (Joan) Ebert of Le Sueur, MN, three grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, brothers, Merco and Jim (Shirley) Nosan both of Chisholm, sister, Dorothy (Charles) Smith of Balkan, many nieces and nephews.
 
She is preceded in death by her husbands, Joseph Micheletto and Albert R. Ebert, one son, Richard Ebert, one grandson, Tony Ebert, infant Brother, John Nosan, brother, Stanley Nosan, sister, Mary Pogorelc, and brother, and Frank Nosan.
